[Sayo nervously skipped work.
She'd been on her way there, actually, and ended up with a less-than-pleasant run-in with Mithos—guess it was easier to talk to the boy through journals for a reason. With her side aching sharply and her lip bruised up, there was that quieted shame; maybe it was her fault, for trying to reason with him. But why would a boy that age be so cruel? She really couldn't comprehend it, let alone half of what he spoke about. After struggling with herself on whether or not she'd want anyone to know, she finally decides it would be easier to just... forget about it. Forgetting was easy, right? She was good at it, even.
She leaves Sanji a small written note in the journal in the afternoon, with a lack of filter—she's not really too sure how to do it, and she doesn't want to ask Ginko to do it for her, s-so... Well, if it's just written to 'Sanji', anyway, it'd be okay:]
[WRITTEN]
Sanji
I apologize for not coming in, but I'm feeling a little under the weather. Is it all right if I stay at home for a few days?
[But of course, she had to leave the apartment eventually—food was important, and she tended to only take what was needed of her. So as nighttime settles she quietly slips on a scarf and pulls it close to her mouth, shoulders stiff leaving to the grocery shop for some of the things she'd needed replaced... Though she decides, with some fondness, to look at all the toys in the store before getting what she needed.
Er, sort of.
She stands in front of an aisle composed of jars, boxes, bags, everything, for a long time, curious about all of these things, and when she's done with what she needs and returns home, she addresses everyone in a chipper voice:]
[VOICE]
What kind of foods come from your worlds? And which kind are your favorite? I've noticed there are so many—and all because people come from different places, with different back-stories
