13th Memory [Action/Voice]
[Shuffle.
shuffle shuffle
snap snap

Sayo had been having a decent weekend, and for a moment, it seemed like it was right back to normal in Luceti. Still had those bouts of 'sleeping' problems, but hey, things were doing well. That is, until she found herself about 1 inch off the ground, barely enough to fit in a palm. Now she's shuffling sideways outside of work, leaving her clothes in a round pile to panic among the people walking by. Oh god oh god everyone's almost stepping on her—she skuttles over to the door to Seventh Heaven and beats her claw on it. Aaaah, that's right, she's early, oh no, oh dear—
THAT GUY ALMOST STEPPED ON HER.
So, Luceti. There's a high-pitch SCREAAAAA— noise as she skuttles haphazardly around people's (your?) feet. And if you listen well enough, you can hear the teeny tiny stunned voice:]
I'VE BEEN TURNED INTO A MONSTER!!
[snap snip]
Someone help me, I can't move well—please don't step on me—ahh!! Please, look down; o-oh, my clothes, my journal, someone!!
[Way way way later:]
[Voice]
Is... anyone else having troubles maneuvering their journals? [>_>]

... she still came to work
Sanji's too busy wondering how a crab got all the way into the village to hear your tiny peals of fright.
... Hm. Not much meat on you, though. Guess he can't make a meal. But he does bend down, bemused, and say:]
Tch, how'd you get all the way out here, little guy?
READ: DEDICATION
/SKUTTLES IN IN PLACE]
SANJI-SAN, I need help, please!
[Oh, her voice, her poor voice is going to go hoarse from all this yelling. At least he's closer for hearing her screams of panic. Y-yes, that's a small favor. ;~;]
SANJI WOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU THE DAY OFF
Sayo-san?! [Oh fuckin god, scooping you up immediately before someone tramples on you]
SHE ACCEPTS IT NOW, AT LEAST?
Y-yes! It's me; I was on my way to work, a-and--before I knew it, I was this--this little monster!
[Let her emphasize by snapping her tiny little claw at the air.]

It doesn't take him long to notice the flailing crab. So he tries for communication.]
Excuse me, um, Miss Crab.

Giles lays himself down on the ground so he's not quite so towering. One of his eyes is still about as big as Sayu is right now, of course.]
Well, lizard is close enough. [Not all cultures might be familiar with dragons, of course.] Um, hello. I didn't cause any harm, did I? [He doesn't quite get that his voice might be overwhelming right now, but he does look concerned.]

[Action]
At first he doesn't hear Sayo's voice - but honestly, as an astrobiologist, Robert is very observant, and eventually he catches the soft strains of a panicking tone. Most crabs are incapable of vocalization, but...]
Ah, excuse me there... Would you happen to need some assistance? [He stoops, carefully, and offers his green, leathery, two-fingered hand as a platform. It's preferable to stepping on the cute little crab, at least.]
Re: [Action]
Oh, yes please! I'd be very grateful!
[Pardon her, she's not much for height, and she's trying her damnedest to even get on his hand.]
[Action]
Then he lifts that hand up to his face.
He recognizes Sayo's voice, now that she's closer to his tympanic membranes.] ... Ah, I know you... well, not as a crab, obviously.
I am Professor Robert Alexander Hastings, if you... do not remember. [He remembers Sayo's memory problems, and while they may not be affecting her at the moment, he figures they might have been enough to affect her before then.]
Though I am usually a human, not a turtle; just like you are not usually a crab. Albeit you are a very beautiful specimen of crab, if I may say so. [He is completely serious when he says this. To his astrobiologist mind, all life is beautiful.]
