14th Memory [Accidental Voice/Action]

[Hello, Luceti. Are you having a good Monday? Good. Goooood. Then you won't mind the sudden cry of surprise from the journal, will you? There's shuffle and a few huffs from running. This is because Sayo is hiding under a tree, gripping the trunk for dear life.]

The sky!! There's something wrong with the sky!

It's—it's melting!!

[... Yes, you can hear the the rain falling. If you want an action thread, you'll find Sayo clinging in terror to a tree, crouched low with her eyes closed, shaking in her kimono. Because she's never seen anything like this, and it's a little terrifying. She just wanted to speak to the wind spirit, and this happens? Is it another experiment? Is Luceti breaking? She presses her forehead into the bark and squares her shoulders at the sounds. A-ah, it's starting to fall through the trees. Oh gods, oh no!

Way later, she goes to work. Soaked to the bone. Fucking rain. 8'D

More-than-likely, she'll end up doing to the clothes store later, so one may find her there as well, staring blankly at a rack full of sundresses and blouses. Which is a very peculiar experience for a woman from a more feudal Japan. Sayo may not have much in the way of memories, but she does have her idea of appropriate attire intact. And this...]

... This is a little... revealing... I think...

[She picks up a noodle-strap top and furrows her brow; very (unsure) about this, man.]

It's what rain does. The clouds soak up water until they can't hold any more and then they let it fall back to the ground. Or sometimes old stories say it's angels crying, but I don't think rain is a sad thing... It's more like a bath for the world, cleaning away the old, letting new things grow.

[she steps back, still smiling, so that the rest of her is in the rain, drops falling on her upturned face before she spins. It really did make her happy, the rain. Especially now, with it warming up just enough to keep it from being miserable]

And if you listen, it's a little like music, the way it sounds when it hits the ground? Like quiet percussion.

Drums.

[stopping in her twirl, she'll come back to the tree, joining Sayo under the boughs] Or... anything that keeps a beat, really. Like this. [and she'll tap out a tiny rhythm against the bark, barely more than a light patter, before she stops and nods to the falling rain]

It's got it's own beat. And the thunder...if we hear thunder later, it's like a really loud drum. Like the music just got extra enthusiastic.

[because if the rain was enough to scare the poor girl, thunder might send her into shock]

[nodding]

Thunder's when it's stormy like this and you hear a loud crash in the sky. Like drums. Sometimes it can be pretty loud. [she smiles] But it's safe. Just a lot of noise.

[stepping back from the tree once more, she offers Sayo her hand] Were you trying to get somewhere? I can go with you, if you want? So you don't have to walk alone. I promise it's safe.

Do you have dry clothes at home? If you dry off right away, it'll be okay to get a little wet now.

[a quick smile] Well... I don't mind it anyway. I could always go get something from one of the stores, if you want to keep dry.

Most people probably stay inside. But it's not so bad. I kind of like being out in the rain.

We could find an umbrella, too, if you wanted to walk outside without getting wet. [following a chain of reasoning...if she doesn't know rain, she probably doesn't know umbrella's either] They're... like a personal dome that you can hold over your head and it keeps the rain off.

I don't mind at all!
