1st Memory [Video]
[It's midnight, but it'll take her a minute to note this. There's a drawn-out yawn, and the grunting of someone doing their usual morning stretch. And in the dark, an outline of a woman appears, in the usual Luceti New Feather garb. She touches her cheek, confused, unable to really see the book in the blue hue of night.]
That was a good rest! Ah—b-but... oh. Oh dear, did I fall asleep doing chores again? That hasn't happened in a long time... [A shiver, as she hugs herself.] It's gotten so dark... and cold, too...
[She huffs in frustration, but the nervousness is rolling off her shoulders in waves]
Kaji? Kaaaji, can you hear me?! ...Ooooh, I can't believe I wandered this far out! I don't even recognize it at all!
...Wait a moment; what am I wearing? These definitely aren't mine—
[And straight to the wings soon after; she pulls on them and immediately regrets it, wincing aloud.]
W-w-what are these strange things!? Th—
AH, they're flapping!!
[With that outburst, she promptly trips backward on her own two feet, landing her bottom right on top of her journal.]

He keeps his expression devoid of anything besides kindness and calm while he mind races, because he can't show her how much that statement hit]
Your son, can he cook for himself? At least until you get back to him.
Re: [Video]
Yes, he's a smart boy; he may even take care of me more than I do him, sometimes...
[She forces a small laugh.]
I'm sure he's fine, handling himself for one night.
And sorry, I don't think I ever got your name, Miss~! You can call me Sanji.
Re: [Video]
[And eyebrow! :D]
[He's honestly confused, until he remembers smaller'd Ginko had damn near the same reaction]
Yeah, something like that, Sayo-san. [You get -san because you are a mommy] Where I'm from, all types of people have different hair colors - even green and orange.
[A-and his eyebrow is awesome, right? D8]
Re: [Video]
That's interesting! Everyone I've met has either black or brown hair...
[Granted, 'everyone I've met' lacks a lot of people she's... y'know, met. Also, she'll be walking with the book in hand looking for this damn river she's been hearing.]
[looking up at the above conversation again, and no, that mushishi bastard hasn't introduced himself yet.] Like the guy who's looking for you - he's got white hair.
Re: [Video]
[Culture shock indeed.]
I must be pretty far from home, then...
You've lived here for a long time, Sanji-san? In... Lu-ce-ti?
Actually, not even a year. More like 10, 11 months.
Re: [Video]
[Yeah, why would she think she's trapped here?]
It's taken some getting used to. But most of the people here are helpful and welcoming.
... We tend to get a lot of newcomers, though.
Re: [Video]
A lot of newcomers? That's a good thing! In my experience, when new people come in it says the village is fairing well. Don't you think?
I never thought of it that way, Sayo-san. [Usually he sees it as kidnapping. 8Db] But yeah, that's another way to look at it. Not everyone stays for long, but we're pretty close as far as villages go.
[They have no choice]

Re: [Video]
It's a little strange and the customers at the tea shop don't always believe me, but I have a creature in my head that eats memories. It took me quite the effort to keep myself aware of it, to be honest.
It eats memories.
Sayo-san, does this creature make you forget little things? [Like how to tie your shoes, he thinks, and can see Usopp's confused expression dancing at the corner of his mind]
Re: [Video]
But... it's not just little things, I'm afraid.
[Dear Luceti,
What the hell is wrong with you?]
Yeah, I've heard of them. A friend of mine specializes in this. [peering at her closely]
Do you know someone named Ginko?
Re: [Video]
[Dot. Dot. Dot.]
It's not familiar, no. He can help, though? I'd appreciate it, though the man who Kaji met said there wasn't much we could do; the best thing is for me to recall important memories while I'm up at night!
So I make sure to think about things that matter as much as I can.
Ginko might be able to; he's a mushishi, after all. But chances are he'll say the same thing as that other guy.
For now, I guess it's best to keep doing what you have been.
Re: [Video]
[She lowers her gaze, unsure.]
Someone said... that I've been kidnapped... That I'm in a different world.
He closes his eye briefly, opens it again. Sorry Ginko]
They're not lying, Sayo-chan. The village I told you about. Most of us... come from other places.
Re: [Video]
So... you're all really kidnapped...?
