1st Memory [Video]
[It's midnight, but it'll take her a minute to note this. There's a drawn-out yawn, and the grunting of someone doing their usual morning stretch. And in the dark, an outline of a woman appears, in the usual Luceti New Feather garb. She touches her cheek, confused, unable to really see the book in the blue hue of night.]
That was a good rest! Ah—b-but... oh. Oh dear, did I fall asleep doing chores again? That hasn't happened in a long time... [A shiver, as she hugs herself.] It's gotten so dark... and cold, too...
[She huffs in frustration, but the nervousness is rolling off her shoulders in waves]
Kaji? Kaaaji, can you hear me?! ...Ooooh, I can't believe I wandered this far out! I don't even recognize it at all!
...Wait a moment; what am I wearing? These definitely aren't mine—
[And straight to the wings soon after; she pulls on them and immediately regrets it, wincing aloud.]
W-w-what are these strange things!? Th—
AH, they're flapping!!
[With that outburst, she promptly trips backward on her own two feet, landing her bottom right on top of her journal.]

Re: [Video] 1/2
certainly not from the book under her butt!]Re: [Video]
Hello, is someone out there? I think I've gotten myself lost!
Re: [Video]
[Yep, still assuming it's a regular resident and not a new one so far.]
Re: [Video]
[She trails off for a moment; wait a second, that voice seems sort of... muffled. When she finally figures out where that's coming from, she jumps up and looks disbelievingly at the journal.]
I... You...
You're in a book!

...
Are you lost, miss? [peering at the page, trying to figure where outside she is]
Re: [ voice ]
Um, I definitely am! I—I think I wandered too far from home, and silly me, I can't ever seem to memorize what the trail back looks like...
[Right? *A*]
Re: [ voice ]
Jeez. Ginko rolls to his feet and picks up his box, then picks up his journal.]
Don't worry about it. [That's enough truth for now. And he's watching those other conversations, sharply.]
Could you describe the lay of the land--? I can probably help you get back.

Oi, that's because -- [Yawn, louder this time] -- they're wings.
[He'll realize it's a woman in a second. For now, he is all frowns]
Re: [Video]
W-wings?! I don't know what those are! Have I... always had them? Do you have them, too?
[If what Kaji tells her is right—w-well, maybe she just forgot she had them! That makes sense!]
That's not a man; that's a terrified woman. His tone switches and he faces the journal fully, all smiles]
Aaah, please forgive my rudeness, Miss~! This all must seem pretty strange to you.
And no, you haven't always had them. They're -- [hnn, but he's still a little groggy. Very slowly he picks his words] They're going to feel new for a while. Make sure not to tug on them, they're sensitive.
Everyone in this place has them.
Re: [Video]
[A hand over a frowning mouth, as she looks around the dark.]
But I'm... in Japan, aren't I? I just... somehow dozed off...
