25th Memory [Voice/Possible Action]

[Unfortunately for Sayo, she didn't exactly... walk back in from the draft; she'd gotten herself into quite the mess there, resulting in wing so busted up that it had to be removed regardless, and thanks to that she was suffering from an awful fever and couldn't really move. So. Instead of returning home, she had to stay at the clinic. Most times she was able to get enough medication that she unnaturally drifted off in and out of restfulness. Laying on her side helped, too.

She thinks about familiar faces—during her stay in the medical tent, she remembered brief, strangely illuminated visages of different people. There was Nami, and then Raine, and then the man who'd helped her, and more than that. She even recollects seeing Mithos and Ginko and Kaji, but... she realizes reality deviated like a fork in those moments.

More than anything, she wants to talk to people, thinking about that sort of thing. She reaches over, smoothing out her journal at her side, before she hesitantly turns it on. Her voice is controlled, soft.]

Is... Um. [She swallows hard, clearing her throat.] Did everyone return alright? I hope not too many people were injured... I know I saw quite a few injuries, but I hope they were nothing too severe. If you were hurt, please let me know you're doing well.

[She smiles, unseen by the screen, which is covered with a pillow.]

Something wonderful did happen, though. I actually dreamed, the other night; it really is an amazing thing, isn't it? Being able to see such clear images in your mind... It was so wonderful. I know there are bad dreams, too... But... But I like the good ones. I could see people in them—even if I miss them and they're not here, I'm glad I was able to see them.

[She laughs softly.]

I guess it's a strange thing to talk about.

[...And.

She has to make sure. Has to check. If he's back....]

Mithos...? Are you there?

[Other than that? She'll be here for a few days recuperating. Reading from her notebooks when she can, steadily gaining some strength, having to re-learn a lot of notes she'd written up before she'd gotten injured. You can visit her on any ol' day later in the week, up until the 22nd; she might just ask you to teach her about this... checkers thing. :|a 

It's been sitting on her table and she is intensely curious about it, okay.]

Mmn. [She sounds tired, maybe a little distant; that's just how drugs fly, man.] I don't really dream... So having one was so strange—I wasn't sure if it was real or not, really, until I 'woke up'.

[there's definite relief in her voice. Not realizing how injured she'd been, Jilly's just glad to hear from her at all] I don't think it's a strange thing to talk about at all.

[That's a good voice to hear. She smiles despite the throbbing that's slowly returning to her shoulder blade, content in the outpour of voices. It's unbelievably comforting.]

You don't think so? I know some people think it must be strange, considering how normal dreams may seem... but I'm glad. They're interesting topics, aren't they?

[ he's not really the type to worry over people (well, most people) but. she gave him a hand in that whole coyote debacle, so he feels somewhat obliged to return the favor. she didn't mention anything about being injured, but the sound of hr voice is p much a dead giveaway. 8| ]

As far as I've heard, most everyone seemed to have gotten out of it relatively unscathed.

That's good... I was worried that the barrier breaking had caused a lot more injuries, but. it's good to hear that things aren't as I feared they could be.

There were injuries, but I haven't heard of any fatalities.

[At the distant shores of his mind, he hears Sayo's voice wisping in like a gentle breeze. Is he imagining it? Hallucinating?

... Or maybe the journal's just open on his chest from where he left it a few hours ago. >_>a Aha. Goddamn drugs. He struggles to sit up in bed, the effort infuriatingly high, and all because of the steady throb that comes from his right shoulder blade.]

Hnn. [But stubbornness pulls him through. Sanji wipes his flushed forehead and stares down into the journal] Sayo-san? [Sorry, he didn't hear a word she said]

--'M fine. [That comes out as a mumble thickened by heavy pain medication. He tries a smile for her] Oi, don't worry about me.

[He'd much rather worry about you. Because it's easier than recollection at this stage. His mind is steadfast in its decision to block out the last five days for now.]

[Yuan hadn't seen Sayo at all during the draft, but he knew she'd gone as well. Just like last time he'd responded to one of her entries, it takes him a few moments to decide whether or not he should actually do it. Part of him is convinced he's only doing it because of leftover feelings from that family experiment, but... She's another one of those kind, somewhat helpless people, much like Martel and Grune.

And then he notices that filter to Mithos, and hacks into it with ease. He doesn't know the exact reason she might be contacting Mithos, but he'll bet it has something to do with a persistent need to try and have him change his ways. Which, again, is much like Martel.]

I'm doing fine, Sayo. Dreams aside, are you well?
