26th Memory [Voice]

[Long since returned home after her ordeal in the draft and her hospital time, Sayo has been reading. You see, when someone brings up a word, this woman here will learn the damn meaning of that word. And when she cannot find an actual meaning? Well, her determination flounders for but a moment! Aaaah, if only urbandictionary.com existed in Luceti. But even she has her limits, and she's all out of her own personal notes.

Finally with a sigh she drops her Merriam-Webster's Dictionary on the table, and turns to the whole of Luceti via her journal with a pleading sort of aura to the bend of her eyebrows.]

Does anyone know what a shithead is??

22nd Memory [Future-dated to Saturday Morning][Voice/Possible Action]

[It was the usual day—forgetting something, needing an ear on the matter, and then calling someone. It was when she would typically call someone like Raine, or Ginko. And when she called the Mushi-shi, it fell through.

...

It fell through?

No, that's not right. That wouldn't happen. She must've just... done something wrong.

But then it continues to not connect. It's not connecting... That meant—No, no, nonono,  no, please. You can't do this. You can't wander away again; it was okay to walk away before, but not now. You can't just leave now, after everything that's happened, after all she's learned and gained—gained from everyone here, and from you.

Her hands grow numb and her body is hot and her head is spinning, and for a moment she loses her legs from under her and nearly pulls the tablecloth down with her. A soft pitter pat of stunned tears hit the journal. No... It's just a mistake. Maybe they took him and shut off his journal. But that wouldn't make sense, would it, Sayo?

—she has to be sure. And upon checking where he would have typically stayed... she's struck silent.

He's gone.

When she makes the announcement, there's a long, horrible pause where she keeps her voice from betraying the overwhelming feeling in her stomach.]

Ginko-san is....

Ginko-san has left Luceti.

[As the journal shuts, a choked sob cuts out in the middle. It won't be long now until Nami's journal admits Sanji's leaving, forcing Sayo to unleash her own strained tears at the thought that two of the most important people in her life now have vanished without a trace. O-or... some sad trace, she thinks feverishly, cradling the blue notebook in her arms.

They're gone.... just like that.]

21st Memory [Voice/Action?]

[Sayo had a scary moment today. She'd opened her journal for review, flipped through the pages, and found herself speaking with someone she didn't recognize—she didn't recognize? She leaned in, scanned their faces, and her heart dropped into her stomach. And soon she found herself flipping to more and more pages, and they were there, and she knew them. She knew them!]

Crona-san...? K-kamina? Ciel?

Who—

[Suddenly, she's reminded of her faceless husband, and she flusters and grows cold all at once.

There were others. So many others. They had less to look for, but she had forgotten them all the same. Where they important to her? Where they friends? How could she have let this happen? How many others... She turns the page and starts a voice entry, trying to mask the growing anxiety bubbling under the surface of a quiet voice.]

[Voice]

U-um, if you–if you know me, can I talk to you? If you know me at all... I'd like to talk to you again...

[No, think of a good excuse for this. She clears her throat a bit, as if to unruffle some metaphorical feathers. Maybe some non-metaphorical ones, too. And then she pulls up a smile.]

Actually... I was wondering about the 'amusement' place. It just appeared, didn't it? I'm not sure what it is, but people seem like they're really interested in it. What does it do? Perhaps... a food place? Something for games? Have any of you gone yet?

[After that, it's time for venturing to work, and then to the tea shop! She was considering working it for a few hours after Seventh Heaven. It was at least good memories... Few, yes, but they were with Kaji, in their home. That was what mattered to her. It made her happy. Content, even with the usual problems in her day.]

19th Memory [Backdated a bit to early July 4th][Voice/Action]

[Today, Sayo feels sporatic. It happens, honest! Even if it's not... very often...

But at least it happens! Today she's wearing a dress Buffy had given her—a lovely
sundress. And even though it's been raining off and on today, it's the warm, welcoming kind that make wearing such an outfit easy and breezy. Fortunately she remembers what rain is today, so it makes walking out in it relaxing. She definitely wants to go to the new tea shop and try out what they have (heck, tea is one of the few things that's stuck with her, so far in her life). And once she leaves there to the store, she stops by to find Archie's friend, Horatio, a gift for his birthday.

This particular gift. Hey, when someone told her how it works? She was in complete awe. Clearly a present like this is a once in a lifetime thing! I mean, a boat that moves with buttons. It's incredible! Just incredible!

And she'll go knock on the door of Archie and Horatio's place, with bag in hand. Not a moment to lose! What a great day today is. So nice and peaceful and back to the usual normalcy she's come to look forward to...]

[Voice]

I've heard while I was out and about that people let off giant flashes of color in the sky—but it sounds so amazing, I wasn't sure if it was just a story or not... Do they really exist? Fireworks, I mean. How do they work? Ah—are they magic? Luceti seems to have a lot of magical things around...

Oh! And I've been reading about sports! They sound like a lot of fun. Though, I don't think I'd be very good at most of them, but I think I could handle this 'badminton' one, in this book... [there's the sound of a palm patting paper] Are sports popular in all the worlds? Or is it just one, that has them...? I'm not sure if mine does or not—not that I know much about my world, really. Kaji enjoyed spinning tops, but I don't think those are like these...

18th Memory [Voice/Action]

[It was kind of surprising to find oneself... not in their house. She'd found herself not so little, and not quite where she should be; in fact, she wasn't aware of who's house this even was—though, give her a moment for some memories to return. First and foremost... she kind of outgrew her clothes. By a large margin. So she makeshifts and wraps herself in a sheet before she wanders around/out of House Seven. She'll eventually find herself some normal clothes, and when she does, she makes a breathless sort of entry, just before she'll rest up and journey to work (boy, it's been three weeks 8|).]

[Voice]

I apologize for my absence, but I suppose I was... a little too small for work and the usual...

[...]

I've... never had memories return before. It's an interesting experience... But I suppose—

[a pause, as she plays with her hair, a small smile crossing her lips]

I suppose I can say I have a childhood now, hm? It was short and small and maybe insignificant to most who'd look at it, but it was definitely a childhood.

[and then, after a thoughtful beat, she gasps]

Oh—I left the tea on!

[the sound of footfalls, before the feed ends]

17th Memory [Action]

[When she wakes up, she recalls darkness and a definite lack of something to reach back for. The Malnosso had been kind enough to leave her the ability to talk and understand, but... it didn't really matter, considering she had no idea what the Malnosso were. Or what these strange green things were. Or what she was.

No, wait. She was a Sayo. She was definitely a Sayo. Her sliver of memory tells her so. :|a
She stumbles through the forest, barefoot, and found it to be very... --she wasn't sure. Something in the air was very heavy (it's very hot, Sayo, very hot). What was on her? Maybe she'd be better if she took these off. So she squats near the river--god, what is that? she takes a moment to suspiciously approach it--and struggles to get her dress over her head.

She learns one thing: flowy blue is good and makes skin feel better. And it shows her, when she looks in it.
Time for Adveeeeenture )
That's her, really?
Sayo continues around the edge of the green and brown scenery, and peeks silently and confusedly from her place in the thick of the brush. There are people, and they have... word, what would the word be. Arms. The little girl follows around the edge of the village, keeping low. Eventually, she decides to be brave and walk out into the middle of the plaza, sopping wet, streaked with mud (why couldn't she be and it be normal, right?).
The other Sayos don't seem to mind her much. She'll snoop around all over town, and take note that people walk in places. Like she did in the green. So she follows them inside and looks around. Apologies if she ends up following you into your home.]
((ooc: she's just about a blank slate memory-wise, but she'll learn quick. also, her mushi is dormant for this effect. Time and space = totally broken, so don't worry about that. Wolfwood'll be back... eventually. Soonish. :|a

13th Memory [Action/Voice]

[Shuffle.

shuffle shuffle

snap snap

Sayo had been having a decent weekend, and for a moment, it seemed like it was right back to normal in Luceti. Still had those bouts of 'sleeping' problems, but hey, things were doing well. That is, until she found herself about 1 inch off the ground, barely enough to fit in a palm. Now she's shuffling sideways outside of work, leaving her clothes in a round pile to panic among the people walking by. Oh god oh god everyone's almost stepping on her—she skuttles over to the door to Seventh Heaven and beats her claw on it. Aaaah, that's right, she's early, oh no, oh dear—

THAT GUY ALMOST STEPPED ON HER.

So, Luceti. There's a high-pitch SCREAAAAA— noise as she skuttles haphazardly around people's (your?) feet. And if you listen well enough, you can hear the teeny tiny stunned voice:]

I'VE BEEN TURNED INTO A MONSTER!!

[snap snip]

Someone help me, I can't move well—please don't step on me—ahh!! Please, look down; o-oh, my clothes, my journal, someone!!

[Way way way later:]

4th Memory [Written/Action/Voice]

[Sayo nervously skipped work.

She'd been on her way there, actually, and ended up with a
less-than-pleasant run-in with Mithos—guess it was easier to talk to the boy through journals for a reason. With her side aching sharply and her lip bruised up, there was that quieted shame; maybe it was her fault, for trying to reason with him. But why would a boy that age be so cruel? She really couldn't comprehend it, let alone half of what he spoke about. After struggling with herself on whether or not she'd want anyone to know, she finally decides it would be easier to just... forget about it. Forgetting was easy, right? She was good at it, even.

She leaves Sanji a small written note in the journal in the afternoon, with a lack of filter—she's not really too sure how to do it, and she doesn't want to ask Ginko to do it for her, s-so... Well, if it's just written to 'Sanji', anyway, it'd be okay:]

Written To Sanji )

[But of course, she had to leave the apartment eventually—food was important, and she tended to only take what was needed of her. So as nighttime settles she quietly slips on a scarf and pulls it close to her mouth, shoulders stiff leaving to the grocery shop for some of the things she'd needed replaced... Though she decides, with some fondness, to look at all the toys in the store before getting what she needed.

Er, sort of.

She stands in front of an aisle composed of jars, boxes, bags, everything, for a long time, curious about all of these things, and when she's done with what she needs and returns home, she addresses everyone in a chipper voice:]

[VOICE]

What kind of foods come from your worlds? And which kind are your favorite? I've noticed there are so many—and all because people come from different places, with different back-stories
